Hoa Lu the ancient capital of Vietnam (under Dinh Dynasty), upon hearing the history of this place from our tour guide I really believe that this city is one of the best cultural identity of vietnamese in the entire Vietnam. Approx 3hrs from Hanoi located in Ninh Binh province you can enjoy the viewing of the two Kings temple.

As much as I would like to share tons of photos on this blog. I'd better not to post it because I want you to wonder and imagine how this place looks like, so you guys can also visit this place soon without much relying photos from the web.

Sampan Boat Ride at Tam Coc was absolutely breathtaking with incredible scenery. I can honestly tell this is one of my best experience ever!!

If your coming from KL Sentral- buy your train tickets to KTM Kumoter counter and then proceed to flatform-3. Batu Caves is the eight station from KL Sentral, trains leave every half an hour.

Once you arrived in Batu Caves station and  on your way out from train station look for this Green statue on the left side for the nearest entrance.

Batu Caves probably the largest Hindu Shrine outside of India. An Indian shrines likes Buddhists shrines typically they are presenting a unique visual colorful images.

TIPs:

Finally we spent some of our time here in Malaysia, our agenda was just to stroll the major city attractions, experience the goodness of local foods.------ On arrival it really shock me when I got to know that Kuala Lumpur International Airport is located 50km outside from the city centre. Travelling cost to take express train was 55MYR(20mins for one way from the airport) and that's quite so expensive!! So we hop on the bus going to KLCC for 15MYR one way (55mins).

Kuala Lumpur is very susceptible to traffic jams, conveniently ride public trains transportation (LRT & Monorail). When you get around the city, buses were available that visits the tourist sites with free wifi on board.

TIPs: Batu Caves is free admission. 

Avoiding huge crowd and midday sun is probably wise idea so be there at 7am. One hour will be enough time to stay. Streets where filled of monkeys and for cave exploration you have to take 272 steps from the lowest ground!

Petronas Towers most recognized attraction whilst Batu Caves were also famous for travellers, as it is one of the most popular Hindu Shrines.

Central Market is just on the opposite side junction far from China Town its like five minutes walk and we consumed almost two hours on these area just to buy souvenirs.

For a day in the city walking around and doing a bunch of different activities, and with not so much more flowering words to say I quickly fell in love with this cities people and unbeatable love for food. Whenever Jimson and I go out of the country, we really love eating like locals. We got some suggestion to visit the street food called Jalan Alor, and I swear every night is a feast. China Town and Jalan Alor is increasing tourist part of town with great food to try on every corner. 

Dishes must to try: Roti Canai, Satay, Nasi Goreng,Curry Laksa, Asam Laksa and so much more!

Visiting historical sites around the world has been one of my greatest pleasures from traveling.

Traveling is nourishment for the soul, the more you travel the more you grow wiser as an individual. That is why I want and wish to do is explore the world whenever I have free time. 

Angkor Wat is the main  temple attraction you have to see at least once in your life, being able to witness one of the largest religious monument in the world has been such a surreal yet beautiful experience.

Right before entering the temple, the reflection from water made this tour beyond worthwhile.

In our first day in Siem Reap, we didn't catch the sunrise at 5am in Angkor Wat since we arrived past 1am in our hotel and we take a little bit of rest. So we planned to start our tour at 7am on the same day, we hired a Tuk-Tuk (15USD for the whole day), if your not out to see every single temples then bought a one day pass (20USD per person) which would be good enough to visit the most three popular temples (Angkor Wat, The Bayon Temple, Tah Prohm Temple). To be noted, in-case you'll be needing tour guide it will cost 15USD.

Temple Passes are priced at $20 for one day, $40 for three days and $60 for 7days.

This month of August the weather was just too hot to handle but later on when you reach inside of the temple you might forgot the intense of the heat, because you'll be amaze in every corner you turn to is filled with details and meaning. 

TIPs: you're not supposed to wear anything too revealing since it's religious place, and it is prohibited to take pictures with the monks.

Bayon Temple  known for huge stone faces mostly they call it the four heads temple, its is located just to the north of Angkor Wat.

Ta Phrom Temple was became famous from the movie Tomb Raider. Home to giant roots reclaiming the ruins. Definitively a must see!

Pre Rup we went there for sunset, its huge and scary stairs it took us get to the top, nothing much special the temple was made out of bricks. Our tuk-tuk driver told us this temple is a lovely place to watch the sunset, while waiting and look up we saw dark clouds and it starting to rain though 😅

Siem Reap is all about the Angkor Temples, so 3 nights is enough to stay here you might get bored if you spend more time/days to visit other temples.

Right before we headed to immigration officer for passport clearance, it was past 12Midnight when we landed to Siem Reap Internation Airport from Manila. Since I didn't inform the hotel personnel to fetch us during our arrival. As soon as we get out from the arrival area I went to airport taxi counter to be able to reach in our hotel. Fixed charges for taxi is 15usd while on the other hand 14usd for Tuk-tuk.

TIPs: Cambodian Riel is the official currency but USD is what they primarily used, if change is less than 1$ they will give you in Riel notes.

Old Market

You almost can find everything here. It has great food, clothing, souvenirs, fabrics, spices and so much more..

Pub Street

Street was full of lively pubs and restaurants. This place is an ideal for night out bar-hopping were Cambodian beers cost only 1$ or $50cents during happy hour.

Plus do not miss to try the Cambodian "Happy Pizza" that contains an extra bit of seasoning for you to enjoy pizza on another level. Where marijuana is the major ingredient for happy pizza, though I wasn't sure how they put weed on pizza but actually the herbs looked like pepper powder.

Jimson ordered 2 plates of Pepperoni pizza small size (for $4), seriously it will take 15mins before the "happy" effects. HAHAHA yeah, Jimson started laughing after he finished three slice of pizza! then suddenly both of us can't stop laughing that night. And its not that bad after all!

Cannabis is illegal in Cambodia but in fact it isn't police priority either. Cambodians use marijuana for cooking or as a therapeutic herb. This shop also offers "happy drinks" such as Happy Shake banana, mango with marijuana in your glass.
