ESSENTIALS BEFORE TRAVELING TO GEORGIA

My recent trip to Georgia turned out to be a successful one! I invited some of my dear friends to flew direct from Dubai to Tbilisi during Christmas holiday, though for a very short notice they had agreed to come, ofcourse thanks to them as Jimson and I save a lot from this trip(group-shared expenses)! 😁

What you should bring from Dubai to Georgia

It was not much difficult to be able to decide to travel to Georgia. A Filipino passport holder and a UAE resident can visit Georgia with VISA FREE for up to 90days, and you just have to present ...

With Dubai's location being near to Asia, Europe and Americas travelling is just too easy! Airfares are extremely cheap by the time we booked our air tickets (3-weeks before departure) through Fly Dubai. A short haul flight from Dubai to its capital city Tbilisi.

Arrival at Tbilisi Airport

Make sure to bring,
🗹 Emirates ID as immigaration will still ask for some travel documents.

🗹 Currency (conveniently always bring US dollar)
☒ Travel Insurance (not necessary)

🗹 Credit / Debit Cards (optional)

In case you'll be asking how much your pocket money just to make sure that you have enough to cover your expenses (Minimum AED2000 or 500USD this is more than enough for 3days).

Georgia currency is the Lari (GEL) you may exchange some amount at Tbilsi airport.

TIPs: There are plenty of banks and small money ex-change offices in most towns and cities, where you can exchange commonly notes for US dollars, Euros.

Something that you should never forget when traveling so you won’t struggled to charge your electronic devices. In Georgia the power sockets type are C and F (which is two rounded holes).

Check the weather of your destination so you'll know what kind of clothes you require. In our case, we travelled in Georgia during winter so, I suggest to bring overcoat, thick woolen sweaters, scarf, gloves, hat, socks, leather boots.
