HONG KONG 4 DAY ITINERARY

Finally we had the chance to visit one of our favorite cities in Asia. This enigmatic city of skyscrapers, ancient traditions and heavenly food will fascinate you. Jimson and I couldn't contain the excitement we had since this was our first trip overseas together, and sure enough that we made all the research as a budget savvy traveler.
Upon arrival make sure to get an Octopus card to use for public transportation throughout the city.
For more localized experience we prefer to stay in Kowloon, from the Airport signs can be seen where to exit for free shuttle bus going to Kowloon.
Both Hong Kong Island and Kowloon offer great hotel deals, click here. With so much plan for exploring the city, this itinerary will might help you to organize your trip.

Day 1 Victoria Harbour- situated between Hong Kong Island and Kowloon.

Taking you in the breathtaking skyline view of Hong Kong Island and spent time to ride the Star Ferry takes about 15mins back and forth, don’t worry it costs almost nothing.
Walk around enjoy the Avenue of Stars and, every night at 8PM don’t missed the Symphony of Lights, Hong Kong holds a Guinness Book of Records as the “World Largest Permanent Light and Sound Show”.
How to get there: get off at MRT Tsim Sha Tsui East Station exit E.

Day 2: Victoria Peak

With an elevation of 1,811ft it is the highest mountain in Hong Kong Island. The Peak offers spectacular panoramic views of the city and its harbours. At night view of Hong Kong, it gave a dazzling galaxy of light.
Peak Tower was one of an architectural icon in Hong Kong imposing restaurant, shops and entertainment events. Another famous attraction the Madamme Taussauds Wax Museum a truly entertaining museum that features local and international celebrity wax figures. Located at shop P101, Level 1 opens 10AM-10PM (Mon- Sun & Public Holidays)

Day 3 Big Buddha and Ngong Ping Cable Car
Big Buddha in Lantau Island is one of the largest bronze seated Buddha statues in the world, originally built by the monks in early 20th century. With 268 steps away to see up close the Big Buddha for 25HKD entrance fee.
The Ngong Ping Cable car (way to Ngong Ping Village) in Lantau Island gave a panoramic view of the Hong Kong airport and harbour. Definitely will visit again this pleasant and relaxing place.

How to get there:
from MTR Tung Chung station Exit B.
  • to take Ngong Ping cable car (it takes 25mins)
  • to take Bus #23 New Lantau from Tung Chung Town Centre (which takes 45 mins)
I would suggest if going there, ride a bus and take cable car for turning back, so you can see two sides of different views.

Day 4 Disneyland

Dreams really do come true after all the hard works. Been wanting to take a break from work and enjoy like we used to just like a kid. Hearing the music that they played in the park was just reliving your childhood days. To make the experience more memorable Jimson and I spent this day goofing around to make the most out of it. Another great experience was to walk around the park, shops every corner and balloon vendors. Thank you Disneyland for experiencing my childhood life again in just a day.
