WHEN IN ABU DHABI: SHEIKH ZAYED GRAND MOSQUE

Late afternoon my friends invited me to see the Sheikh Zayed Mosque in Abu Dhabi. So we traveled one hour from Dubai to get in here via private vehicle.
The Sheikh Zayed Mosque is the largest mosque in United Arab of Emirates, covering an area of 12-hectares and can accommodate forty one thousand worshippers. It is located in Abu Dhabi from the capital city of UAE.
An overwhelming feeling when you had the chance to visit one of the holiest places on earth in every religion. I was totally fascinated by the striking white mosques with its grand scale.

One of the few things to remember if you're entering the mosque men and women should dressed appropriately or else you'll get denied to go inside. TIPs: You can borrow for free the headscarf and konduras which is available in basement area.
The gorgeous floral motifs and feminine style were amazing. A beautiful master piece used marble in its construction and inlaid with gold, semi-precious stones such as amethyst, red agate, jasper and mother pearl.
The chandeliers that are hangs inside of the mosque made me WOWed!! The largest chandeliers which weighs approximately 12tons, sparkle with Swarovski crystals and shine with 40kg of 24 carat galvanized gold.
Another most impressive features is the world largest loomed carpet the design elaborate the arabesque motifs. It is made in Iran and took 1200 craftsmen and two years to complete. Whaaat!??can you even imagine how big the mosque is?
The men and women's prayer rooms were separated and while seeing around we opt to pray for Allah. But, please be noted that it is not necessary to pray.

Jimson and I still have the chance to make some silly poses! :)
